AQSD-Coax
Automated Measuring System for quality testing of coaxial cables up to 3 GHz
The AQSD-Coax is a measuring system designed for quality assurance testing of coaxial cables across the frequency range from 300 kHz to 3 GHz, respectively 6 GHz, depending on the vector network analyzer used for the measurements. It allows time saving and highly accurate measurements on bare coaxial cables. The AQSD-Coax runs with vendor independent vector network analyzers and can be customized to specific test environments. All components of the system are stacked in a 19 inch moveable rack with the control terminal on top giving a maximum on flexibility.
The AQSD-Coax combines high throughput and excellent measurement accuracy. The outstanding system performance is based on a fully automated normalization process and unique error compensation method of the access switch. Both, normalization and error compensation guarantee accurate and reproducible measurement results even in a hasty production environment..

Vendor independent vector network analyzer for 19 inch rack mount, frequency range depending on application
Controller with monitor, keyboard, and mouse pad
Wireless access point according to IEEE 802.11g, IMS band
Access switch controller for up to 5 TX-ports (reflection measurement) and 1 RX-port (transmission measurement, N connector)
Complete set of calibration standards
Exchangeable coaxial TX-ports to fit different cable diameters
Software:
Application oriented version of AQSD-XP basic software
Database with wireless access and SQL server/client structure
Result report in various predefined formats
GUI with German as standard language, easily changeable to other languages via language editor
