Automated Measuring System for Cat 6/7 performance testing
The AQSD-600/1500 automated measuring system is designed for category 6/7 performance testing. Increased performance of data cables currently used for CAT5, CAT6, CAT7, and “CAT8” applications require extensive quality assurance tests in production. Even minor irregularities in the production line can significantly change product specifications. The outstanding system performance of AQSD-600/1500 is based on an extensive computer controlled calibration/normalization process including error compensation of the access switch. With its high measurement speed, the AQSD-600/1500 is the right tool if high through-put and reliable measurement results are required. The AQSD-600/1500 can be equipped with a vendor independent network analyzer covering the required frequency range. All components including a 2 kW power supply for interrupt free operation are rack-mount in a moveable workbench. Also customized solutions are possible to fit the AQSD test system into a customers test environment.

Measurements:
The AQSD-600/1500 performs all relevant RF measurements according to CAT 6/7 on bare cables across the frequency range 1 MHz to 600 MHz, respectively 1.5 GHz. The measurement results are kept in an integrated database, results are presented in tabular and graphical formats. A report generator allows creation of printouts in customized formats including all relevant test parameters.
