AQSD-30
Automated Measuring System for performance testing on balanced data cables up to 30 MHz.
The AQSD-30 is an automated measuring system designed especially for perforÂmance measurements on balanced data cables. It automatically performs all cable specific measurements up to 30 MHz, including calibration and error correction procedures. Two microprocessor controlled access switches are used to contact up to 30 pairs (extendable up to 128 pairs) depending on test mode without any manual support. As an option, measurement of DC parameters is also possible.
The automatic test sequences produce precise and highly reproducible measurement results at a minimum on test time. Furthermore, as all test parameters required to run a test sequence are set up by the controller operating errors are avoided to a great extend.
The Windows based operating concept is easy to handle and even less skilled technicians need only a short time to get familiar with it.
Test set up and measuring functions
The AQSD-30 consists on the following system components:
- Vector Network Analyzer according to the required frequency range, customized solutions on request
- AQSD-XP control and evaluation basic software with graphical user interface (GUI)
- Automatically controlled access switch for contacting of up to 128 pairs
- Separate baluns for each pair at near and far end reduces port switching time to a minimum giving a short set up time for any test combination required.
- Fully automated calibration
- SQL database for client/server architecture
- Report generator providing various display formats
In addition, the AQSD-XPS software extension for statistical analysis is available as an option.
