Tri-Axial measuring tube
for cable screening measurements in the frequency range up to -6,5 GHz
The measurements are performed with a network analyzer of adequate frequency range. All parameters describing the screening effectiveness are measured on short cables as typically used in the automotive industry.
In particular, the following screening parameters can be measured:
- Transfer impedance according to IEC 61196-1 (DIN 47250, Teil 4)
and prEN 50289-1-6A - Screening attenuation according to IEC SC46A/269/CD and
prEN 50289-6C of coaxial cables - Coupling attenuation of twisted pairs (data cables)
Measurement results can be evaluated, prepared, displayed and managed using our Shield XP cable measuring program. The integrated report generator allows print-outs in freely styled formats.
On request, we offer complete software and hardware solutions, as for example customized automated measuring systems or individual components as network analyzers, work stations, PCs, note books, scanners, printers, and others.
